We want to thank the Micro Minder clients for collectively raising £10,000 last year for Bridge2Aid – a charity working in Africa training people in oral health promotion, oral health education and training in emergency dental treatment.
Using the huge sum of money, our clients have helped raise, this year Bridge2Aid will:
Train 3,200 new community champions in Tanzania to protect children from the dangers of infant oral mutilation.
Train 90 new Oral Health Promoters across the northern region of Malawi and begin to extend this training to the central region.
Continue their 4-year training programme with the University of Bristol Dental School to reach underserved communities in the UK. They are currently working with students to train care home staff in giving effective oral health advice to elderly residents.
